The Ask
Untouched for over 25 years, the space stood ready for a complete transformation. Within moments of our conversation, the brief became clear-the client’s preference for understated simplicity needed to guide every decision.
The vision was to create a home that embodies quiet elegance, where minimalism is elevated through thoughtful detailing, refined materials, and a sense of effortless sophistication.
The Result
What was once a space frozen in time is now a home that breathes calm and elegance. The design embraces simplicity at its core, allowing subtle details and balanced compositions to define the experience.
The result is a warm, inviting environment that feels both elevated and deeply personal.
The home carried a legacy of its own, making the transformation all the more meaningful. From the outset, the client’s vision was clear-nothing ostentatious, nothing excessive. Every member of the family shared a preference for understated elegance, and we honored that sensibility through a design language rooted in simplicity.
A calming palette of blues and greys was introduced across the walls, complemented by refined materials and subtle textures that elevate without overwhelming. Each element was carefully curated to create a cohesive, serene environment. Thoughtful consideration was also given to the family’s beloved dog, ensuring the exterior spaces were designed to be both functional and welcoming-resulting in a home that is graceful, personal, and quietly luxurious.
Transforming this home was an immensely fulfilling journey for us. The true reward came when the clients experienced the space for the first time at the surprise housewarming we curated-where their delight and appreciation spoke louder than words.
